Labor

We offer dedicated floor managers supervising skilled labor and technicians at your event. And since they're working with Freeman's North American network of resources, we're always close at hand for emergency repairs, refurbishment or last-minute graphics.

For the exhibitor, a critical step toward a positive show experience is the ease with which they receive their freight on the show floor. In order for this to happen, it takes highly trained service teams and a commitment to customer service. That's just what you'll find at Freeman.

  • All freight supervisors are taught and evaluated at a Freeman freight training facility and participate in intensive customer service education.
  • Labor is always supervised by full-time Freeman employees who are familiar with the facility.
  • We measure freight performance for every Freeman show so that any issues can be addressed and resolved quickly.
  • Exhibitors who send freight to the advance warehouse before a show receive shipping confirmation via email.
  • To expedite each exhibitor's outbound processes, Freeman delivers automated shipping documents (Material Handling Agreements) and preprinted labels to each booth.

Value Added Transportation Programs and Services

Caravan Services

Because Freeman manages so many shows in the industry, it's likely that your next show may be a Freeman event. If this is the case, Freeman can ship your properties directly to the show without shipping your properties home. The Caravan Service from Freeman consolidates your shipment with other exhibitors going to the same event. This process provides a transportation service from one show to the next. With preferred pricing and no cross-docking, your properties will move direct from your event resulting in a faster transit time, less handling and reduced cost.

Small Package/Parcel Services

With Freeman's small package program, we offer an alternative for exhibitors shipping less than 150 pounds. We provide time definite, flexible and affordable small package transportation backed by partners with the most robust global freight services infrastructure in the world.

Package Program

Freeman's package program provides turnkey round trip transportation and material handling services for a flat fee. Our Package pricing provides you with a convenient way to order services, the ability to accurately plan and budget for the bulk of your exhibiting needs. This service offering is all inclusive, delivered on one single invoice with no additional transportation fees or fuel surcharges.

International Transportation Management

Because our clients' needs continue to grow, Freeman expanded its logistics capabilities to include customs brokerage and transportation services throughout the world. Our Global service offering streamlines the import and export customs process, integrating that feature into our transportation service. With end to end visibility of your shipment and a single point of contact, you can be sure your property will arrive on time and intact.

Furnishings & Carpet

When it comes to making your event stand out, we’ve got you covered. We offer a wide range of furniture and carpet choices designed to fit any budget or exhibit design.

Our carpet options are designed to fit the requirements of your space and include classic, custom or prestige carpet, so you can select exactly what suits your needs. Freeman only uses colorfast carpet, making it a consistent, matching shade every time, plus all of our carpet padding has been recently upgraded to above industry standards. Plus, in addition to standard and upgraded carpet options, we also offer custom options like borders, patterns and logo applications.

Rental prices are all-inclusive so there are never hidden charges for material handling, delivery or pickup after the event.

Material Handling

Freeman provides a complete line of material handling services with a highly trained staff and a wide variety of specialized equipment. Services include advance or on-site receiving and delivery, empty container storage and outbound loading services. Additional services include labor and equipment for display assembly or machinery rigging, as well as short-term and long-term storage services.

Exhibitor Services

Success for your exhibitors means a successful event for you. We're always looking for ways to enhance the show experience for your exhibitors. Freeman value-added services include:

Concierge Services

At Freeman, we know the importance of a great customer experience on the show floor. Freeman provides two turnkey solutions offering concierge services that are available to exhibitors during move-in. The specially trained concierge personnel from Freeman are assigned to zones and enjoy forming a personal connection with exhibitors. With ConciergeServices by Freeman™ and Concierge EliteSM, our customers — the exhibitors — will receive the peace of mind that comes with doing business with us. Exhibitors never have to leave their booth to log an issue, so they are free to focus on the success of their show.

Benefits include shorter service center lines, a convenient means of checking on incoming freight and ordering from the show floor and, most importantly, the chance to build one-on-one relationships with your customers.

With ConciergeServices by Freeman, our specialists use a wireless tablet PC to address any service issues, check on freight and place orders. ConciergeServices personnel are always available via cell phone to communicate with the Service Center or simply to contact the appropriate Freeman employee for a quick response.

With Concierge Elite, an enhanced concierge service for exhibitors, roaming concierges with handheld devices take customer requests and service issues in their exhibit. With Concierge Elite, all Freeman orders are uploaded preshow to the concierge's PDA, so dedicated specialists can take customer requests and service issues right away. All communication moves through a web-based tool, so Freeman and other contractors receive alert messages when there's an exhibitor need. Once the message is communicated to the right contractor, text messages update exhibitors, keeping them informed. Show management has full access to the system, so they can see how quickly Freeman responds to exhibitor needs.

Exhibit & Event Rigging

Our mission is to provide the safest working environment for your event. As a result, we provide a full range of theatrical, exhibit and event rigging services. Signs, audio and lighting systems, special display items and more—they’re all expertly designed and installed by highly trained and experienced people.

Lighting

There’s no better way to enhance an exhibit than to add lighting. With so many options available, we can add depth, texture and color to your exhibit or event giving it a multitude of different looks. Lighting adds drama and feeling to an exhibit. Whether you are looking for intelligent lighting to project moving colors and patterns on screens, walls or the floor, or static lighting to enhance a display, product or graphic, Freeman can provide a variety of solutions. We have lighting designers on staff to assist you with new or existing designs and technicians on site throughout your event to pull it off without a hitch.

International Translation Services

Freeman has partnered with LLE Translation Services to provide a service for international exhibitors that provides quick interpretation and translation in 150 languages. This free service is available to Freeman customers 24 hours a day, enabling Freeman service representatives to call a toll-free number when faced with a language difference. After dialing an access code for the language required, an interpreter comes on the line to assist both parties. Translators can also be onsite if a show has a large attendance of people speaking a particular language.

Freeman employs more than 20 exhibitor service representatives who are bilingual or trilingual. A list of employees, their secondary languages and contact info is available to our customer service representatives.

For a minimal fee, Freeman can have all exhibitor service material translated into the needed languages as well. Freeman has translated our service vision cards, forms and terms and conditions into Spanish and French.

Cleaning Services

When Freeman is designated as the official cleaning contractor, we provide all preshow and postshow cleaning within the facilities, including aisle and booth carpet and cleaning. Working with a single partner like Freeman to provide cleaning services simplifies the event experience.

Electrical Services

For 80 years, Freeman has been a leader in the trade show and event industry. Recognizing the unique needs of show organizers, Freeman added electrical services to its portfolio of core competencies to better serve its show organizer and exposition customer. With the successful launch of electrical services on the West Coast in January 2005, we are now turning our attention to future business opportunities in varying locations throughout North America. Our strategy for developing electrical operations in existing Freeman branches is to further enhance customer service standards and offer consistent services to all of our clients.
